AW 101.3 (XHAW-FM) 

The AW Radio (XHAW) from the city of Monterrey, State of Nuevo León, defines itself as the "perfect balance between music and news". Since 1997, the station transmits the television newscasts TeleDiario from the TV channel Canal 12 (XHAW). The concessionaires of the radio and TV station are respectively Radio Informativa S.A. de C.V. and Televisión Digital S.A. de C.V., both linked to Grupo Multimedios. Until 2000, the owner of the concession for the radio station was Francisco Ibarra López (founder and President of Grupo Acir). 

AW 101.3 does not have its own web page. The station calibrates through the web page of Grupo Multimedios. In the latter, there is no information about the physical address of the station or any telephone contact.

Jesús Dionisio González González - Known as the founder of Grupo Multimedios. Father of Francisco Antonio and grandfather of Francisco Darío González, which serve as President of the Managing Board and Executive President of Grupo Milenio respectively. In the 1940s, Jesús Dionisio acquires the Monterrey radio station XEX (which later becomes XHAW). At the end of the 1960s he found the channel canal 12 XHAW-TV in the city of Monterrey, as part of the then called Grupo Estrellas de Oro.

The Public Registry for Concessions of the Federal Institute for Telecommunications does not publish the shareholder structure of Multimedios Radio S.A de C.V. The latter owns (with more than 99.9%) the concessionary company of the station: Radio Informativa S.A. e C.V.

Grupo Multimedios does not give information about who held the concession for the station in the period between 1986 and 2000. It is known however that it was Francisco Ibarra López (the founder and President of the broadcast group ACIR), according to a document issued by the Secretary for Communications and Transport.
